Meet Our Pediatric Therapists

Rebecca Sheade | OTR/L

Licensed Occupational Therapist

Becca has been an occupational therapist for 17 years. She has worked in pediatrics this whole time and loves supporting kids and their families as they navigate different developmental milestones. Becca has specific training in kids bowel and bladder challenges, neuromuscular re-education, sensory processing differences and gross & fine motor delays. She loves meeting kids where they are at and having fun the whole time.

Rolinda Joan Beltran | M.S, CCC-SLP

Speech Language Pathologist

Joan has been practicing the profession for at least 15 years. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of the Philippines-Manila in 2000, and her master’s degree in Communication Disorders from California State University -Northridge. In 2018 she took a comprehensive and extensive coursework in pediatric feeding through Feed the Peds by Hallie Bulkin. This opened the doors to Orofacial Myofunctional therapy techniques and management of Tethered Oral Tissues (TOTs a.k.a. tongue and lip ties). She continues to learn more about the profession in a whole new lens and seeks to be a better speech-language pathologist, feeding therapist, and OMT therapist.

What our Clients are Saying

- CaitlinFine Motor Skills
Our son has made so much progress since we started to work with Ms Becca! Our son has made so much progress since we started to work with Ms Becca! He struggles with sensory concerns and fine motor skills. Ms Becca has taken time to tackle each of his challenges. She gives us tools to use outside of sessions and has really empowered our family. Most importantly she has taken the time to build a relationship with our son. Our son feels as if he is going to spend time with a friend versus a therapy session. This relationship has been key to allowing him to open up and try the more challenging things. While our son’s concerns remain a work in progress, we are forever grateful to have Ms Becca in his corner providing all of us with the tools, tips, and tricks to allow him to succeed.

Bottle Aversion | Tongue & Lip Ties (Click here to read full review.)
She was encouraging and supportive, even being available through email or phone if I had questions after our appointment. I have had multiple experiences working with Belinda Joan Beltran and they all have been overwhelmingly positive. Previously, I was referred to Joan when my daughter was diagnosed with a bottle aversion. She took the time to get to know myself, my husband, and my daughter on a deep level. Additionally, she identified other physical issues that were contributing to my daughter’s bottle aversion. We ended up working with Joan in a different capacity after my daughter had lip ties and tongue ties released. Every week, Joan was clear in the exercises or plan that we were implementing. She was encouraging and supportive, even being available through email or phone if I had questions after our appointment. Most recently...

Bowel and Bladder
Thank you, Becca! We were so honored to have your support with our families and clients! Becca from Movement Matters visited our clinic, HLC Therapy Group in Lake in the Hills, to present to our community of parents and therapists about bowel and bladder challenges. Becca has built a specialty related to bowel/bladder difficulties, which came through in her presentation with the knowledge and grace she displayed talking about such an important, yet “uncomfortable” topic. Thank you, Becca! We were so honored to have your support with our families and clients!
- MicheleOccupational Therapy (OT) & Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
I'm writing to share our family's positive experience with your pediatric therapy services, specifically the Occupational Therapy (OT) and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) programs. We've been consistently impressed with the quality of care and the positive impact your practice has had on our children's development. Over the years, Joan and Becca have truly become a part of our family. Their expertise, compassion, and dedication have helped our children reach their full potential in a welcoming and comfortable environment. Our eldest child is now six, and we have been working with them since they were two months old. We are so grateful for their support. I highly recommend your services to any parent seeking support for their child's OT and SLP needs. Sincerely, Michele
